The EP65 is the 6550 push-pull integrated amplifier in the Raphaelite series. The EP65 uses an all-aluminum body and is simple in appearance. Using 4 Russian svetlana 6550 power tubes for standard-push push-pull amplification, each channel can output 8 ohms and 50W rated power with less than 1% distortion. These parameters indicate that EP65 can drive sensitive speaker units with good sensitivity.
The EP65 circuit is designed to be simple, stable and reliable. Using a transistor rectifier circuit, a simple and easy-to-use long tail inverter circuit consisting of a Czech E88CC and two US GE 12AT7s easily drives four Russian 6500 power tubes. The core output section uses the Raphael 6550/KT88 dedicated 80W fully coupled push-pull output transformer to ensure that every detail in the music is not missed.
