What can I say but its a fantastic Amp. My first ever tube amp. I was worried that it may not get to me as I have never brought items from China as was worried that the Hi-fi shop was not first class, but I can tell you they are a very good Hi-Fi shop to deal with. The only downside is the length of time it takes to be ship to you in the UK Covid-19 has not help. So just order and wait its very well worth it. Now the good points for the money I was lucky enough to buy before the price rise, but still worth buying. i have had it on the go for about one month now and boy what a sound, it was so good I needed to upgrade my speakers from Tannoy Mercury bookshelf speakers to fantastic sounding Bowers & Wilkins 607 S2 Anniversary Edition and QED XT40i speaker cable this has brought out the sound more of the A50. That is the problem of this Amp (very nice problem) that you look closely at your Hi -Fi system how to improve the sound for the benefit of this fantastic Amp. Also don't be put off about placing tubes into their slots in the amp, easy to do just take your time roll the tube when you push it into the slot, plenty of you tube videos to help you. I love Jazz and the sound from the tubes is a very warm natural sound, you do not need mega power from a amp to drive speakers. I’m very happy with my purchase. It came very well packed. Everything is delivered according to the description and the amplifier looks well finished. The sound is remarkably better than the previous amplifier, tight strong low and beautiful mids. And it might not even be fully run in yet after 20 hours.... Thanks !

100% amazing products

I bought the Willsenton R8 based on some raving reviews on youtube and elsewhere. With stock tubes it is really crisp and clear with great air and separation. Dead silent in pauses. Wonderful vocals, and does everything from gritty Rock to Jazz or Classical music really well. Superior to my previous (more expensive) solid State main amplifier. The R8 even looks good (I got the Silver & Black version - some will prefer the all Black). I prefer the Triode mode for most music. 25 tube Watts turned out to be more than enough. Eventually I will do some tube rolling, probably go for some expensive NOS as well. But I am not in a hurry, the R8 already sounds great stock. My system: Jriver on dedicated HTPC, Benchmark DAC1 HDR, Willsenton R8, slightly upgraded Sonus Faber Electa Amator mark one. Plus a pair of PSB subsonic 6.

I have this Amp (point wired and with PSVANE tubes) for 3 months now and it keeps amazing me. It took quite a while burning in completely. Sound quality improved very much by these little modification: - replace capacitors C102 and C202 with a quality MKP capacitor. - add a 1 microFarad MKP capacitor parallel to both C203 (0,47 probably will do as well) - (smaller improvement:) bypass volume control My 8 ohm speakers, Tang Band W4-1879, sounded significantly better on the 4 ohm connectors of the Amp than on the 8 ohm connector (because of less transformer windings?) Highly recommended. Customer service of China-hifi also was very good.

When i put the tubes into my 300B tube amp, WOW! the sound is as reviewed by many people. Wonderful!
