Reviews After you make a phurase, please Write a Reviews for the hifi audio which you bought from us. This helps everyone know the items is good or bad, the audiophile buyer will know the items before they make a purchase. 1) shipment to Seattle was crazy fast. I ordered this on June 15 and it arrived on my doorstep on June 18 , 10 am
2) packaging was perfect, some might say adequate, i call it excellent
3) amp is new and in pristine condition
4) sound is more than amazingly good. I am comparing it with a '80 Sansui and a Yaqin tube amp and this SoundArtist certainly is among his equals , except for the fact that it has a super low price.
5) connected to Fluance, Jamo and Klipsch (all floor standing and no subs) and it sounds pretty darn good. played Marianne Faithfull Blazing Away recording and the amp shows his strength and quality - and this is just the first hour of useage! LOVE IT!!!

Willsenton R8 Integrated Amplifier
I received my Willsenton R8 with EH 6550 output tubes a couple of days ago. I choose the EH 6550 tubes over the KT-88 because I like that tube. I have been listening to it both recreationally and critically in my great room with a mix of hard and soft surfaces. I am listening through a pair of JBL Northridge ND310’s. The source is from my iPad through an InnoMaker Bluetooth 5.0 Audio Receiver HiFi DAC aptX HD Streaming Music Adapter (384KHz/32Bit PCM5122). I am using the Willsenton R8 in power amp mode with the input on the Preamp Inputs through my Adcom GFP-565 Preamp - The tone controls are out and only the “contour” (loudness compensating function) is engaged on the preamp. I like the sound of Adcom’s contour implementation.
This is my first tube type power amp, but not my first high end power amp - I use a Phase Linear 400 in my bedroom also with an Adcom preamp and a somewhat smaller set of JBL speakers there. By the way I am a retired electronic engineer.
Initial Observations on the Willsenton R8 with EH 6550 output tubes in Ultra-linear mode:
(1) It is an amazingly heavy beast at just under 70 pounds - The weight is in the big transformers. Big iron means good low end audio response. Using a tone generator in my iPad via the Bluetooth link, it has good low end response at 20 Hz. The bass is very clean and solid.
(2) The sound is very clean. I have no trouble distinguishing very low audio level sounds from...

Speaker Review
Paiyon P4-2.0
High-Fidelity instead of High-End
At the beginning of 2020 I discovered a video on YouTube called
"Review! The Paiyon P4-2.0 Bookshelf Loudspeaker. The Good China-Fi!" from June 12, 2019.
The video was released on the channel "Zero Fidelity", the reviewer is a young American named Sean Fowler. You can still watch the video today, it is professionally made, and Fowler knows his trade and what he is talking about.
After I had looked at the review several times and visited the website of the Chinese supplier https://www.china-hifi-audio.com/en/, it was clear: that's where I would take action ...
As I had previously purchased speakers directly from China, I ordered a pair of P4-2.0 in Walnut from HiFi-Audio in Guangzhou in early March, the Rosewood version would have dominated my listening room too much visually, and two weeks later the 22 kg package was lying in my stairwell. The Chinese are busy people, and don't let such messes like Covid-19 keep them from doing business.
On the subject of business:
Dollar rate 0.93 €/$ (April 2020)
183,59 $ 170 € Product
132,03 $ 122 € Freight
53,56 € 54 € Customs
Total 346 €
The pair of P4-2.0 comes thus in Germany to 346 €uro.
Even the Chinese cannot do magic. The visible outer surfaces of the case are made of a – well made – plastic veneer. I can say this for sure, because a tiny (!) transport damage let the underground shine through. With a felt-tip pen of suitable...

This amplifier is extremely good value for money and sounds wonderful using the 4 ohm speaker terminals driving my crossover restored Celestion Ditton 66 studio monitors. Easily recomended!

Excellent amp! I’m blown away by the performance of this thing! Great deal for the money. I’ve been listening to it for a couple days and it sounds better and better each day with the stock tubes. I’m using with full range bookshelf speakers and it’s a perfect match. I highly recommend.

I have had mine for 4 weeks now and I have to say it truly is excellent all round!! It arrived very safely packed (double boxed too), the build quality is first class and the sound is far, far better than its price would suggest. With speakers properly positioned (pulled well away from the wall) the soundstage is impressively deep and wide and there is detail in music I am very familiar with that I have never heard before and the highs have a clarity that is never tiring to listen to. There is tube (valve in the UK) warmth to the mid range but it is not over done. The only downside I have found is that the absolute lowest octave is very rolled off but the bass region is otherwise very present and clear and deep. I am very, very happy with my purchase, it is a credit to the designer and manufacturer.

This is an excellent sounding amplifier with amazing craftsmanship (a fine piece of audio jewelry). I would give it 6 stars if i could. It is everything i've experienced with high end tube sound in the past and more! Mr. Lee is very responsive to any questions you may have. There is a 2 week lead time prior to shipping if you request 120 V for the United States. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.
