This helps everyone know the items is good or bad, the audiophile buyer will know the items before they make a purchase. This beautiful Willsenton R300 amplifier arrived at my house about ten days ago. What strikes you when you discover it, is the quality and the beauty of the appearance. It is magnificent !
When I turn it on, it doesn't produce any buzzing, hissing noise in the speakers. It is silence !
It requires some things to put all the chances on its side and yours:
- change as soon as possible, the 6SN7 tubes (I did it as soon as it arrived) for better tubes. If you like modern music, choose the PSVANE CV181-T MK II, if you prefer classical music, baroque, vocal jazz and pure and natural voices like me, prefer the PSVANE Black Treasure CV181-Z.
- if you can, also replace the 6SL7 by a LINLAI Elite Series E-6SN7. This change is not mandatory, but it brings a lot (be careful, its break-in is very long!!).
- Choose a very transparent modulation cable. The NEOTECH NEI-3001-III is perfect. If you build it yourself, choose the best RCA connectors from KLE-Innovation with silver solder.
- Listen to the music on the two speaker jacks, the 4 ohm one and the 8 ohm one. One will probably get your choice of listening. These changes must be made with the amplifier turned off!
After having waited about 60 hours during several days at reduced volume on a radio, in phases of 3 hours, then an hour for rest and so on, I can now really listen to it.
Again, be patient! Only when this Willsenton R300 amplifier has 200 or 300 hours of operation will you know how far this...

Wonderful, excellent & outstanding build.
I recommend this to anyone wanting a great sounding tube smoking on a smaller budget. I’ve been using this for a couple months and love it.
If I could change ONE thing it would be that I’d prefer a knob selector for inputs. Otherwise perfect for me!

I placed the Yaqin CD1 between my Italian CD player and Swedish class D amplifier. I replaced the stock tubes with a Russian 6n23p tube and this gives a rich, dynamic and detailed sound. I mainly listen to classical music: baroque music, concertos, symphonies, oratorios and opera. I am very content with my purchase and can recommend the Yaqin CD1 to all hifi lovers.

The Willsenton R8 is just a really good amp worth every penny. Compared to another quality tube-amp priced 3 times as much there are no differences in sound and built that could explain the difference in price. I am sure some can, I cannot. I had some hesistations ordering here but the aftersale was excellent so those were misplaced. All and all 5 stars hands down.

The Willsenton R8 arrived at my place yesterday (in Chile) in perfect conditions. All is working fine, no problems, damages nor defects. I just loved it! Fantastic, beautiful sound!! I had to pay an additional fee of some USD 160 locally to UPS though, which was unexpected.

I bought this Willsenton R-800i last Feb. 2022 instead of the Willsenton R8 on recommendation of Youtube.com reviewers from USA. (Thomas @Stereo and 2 others). While I did not hear the R8 (Thomas did both for his reviews the R-800i is everything Tom's review said it was-- a very good sounding tube amp. I find it easy on the ear for long listening sessions which is MOST important to me. I did have to change out the stock 300b's for new 4300B Guiguang tubes and also the stock 6sn7's for a pair of RCA 6sn7 GTB black latter plate d getter tubes however. These upgrades brought a very good sounding 300b amp with the stock tubes up to a very near perfect one in my view. So again a very rich , clear sounding tube amp with much fidelity and with no listening fatigue whatsoever.

After doing much research and homework on these amplifiers, I narrowed it down to two models, the Willsenton R8 and this Muzishare X7. I still picked the wrong one, at least for me. It is not like the old days when we could just go down to the local stereo shop to look, listen and feel in person. Really got to study up nowadays.
I originally ordered the Willsenton R8, but overlooked It is overall size and had to return it simply because I did not have enough shelf space. The Muzishare is significantly smaller, and slightly lighter. Both amplifiers are excellent, I am sure, but this Muzishare X7 is perfect, at least for me. Besides the smaller footprint, here is why...
1: Tube biasing. Could not be easier. Using the VU meter, 1 hand is all it takes. The R8 is also easy, but takes 2 hands.
2: Output power. It is enough to drive low sensitive speakers. It drives my Elac Reference Series speakers rated at 85db no problem. The same goes for the R8.
3: It is compact, as stated above.
4: The interface is very well designed. Nobs and toggle switches, beautifully simple, elegant and attractive.
5: It uses a tube rectifier. Not better or worse than solid state, but I like it.
6: It is loaded with quality, aesthetics, and functionality, for a price that is extremely competitive.
If you are on the fence about this one, just get it, especially if your shelf space is limited. It sounds beautiful, and will hopefully provide me with many years of enjoyment....
