Very good amplifier, build with care and good components. The sound is awesome !!! a little bit more of updates should be welcome, without this is a 5 stars.

First of all thank you China HiFi and Yong Lee for the speedy response to my emails. This amplifier is fantastically good just out of the box. Had always wanted a 300b SET amplifier to try out after constant recommendation to me from my audiophile friends but could not afford one due to the cost until I chance upon the review of this amplifier on YouTube that made me plunge into it. Having heard from friends 300b, this amplifier is a run for the money. Sound is clear and transparent with pretty good holographic vocal presentation. Notes from strings and piano decay really well and there is really good lower frequency response, not too light nor too heavy, just the right amount. Cannot wait to let it run in further with perhaps even better sound. Do not ever be put off by the small output wattage. With good design and parts pairing up for the amplifier it can give you an exceptional performance. This is my first tube amplifier and its quite remarkable for just over £600. I have a Musical Fidelity M5si solid-state amp that retails for £1800 in the UK and the Willsenton is easily its equal, if not its better. So long solid-state, this bargain amplifier has converted me to tube amps. Music performance just feels more involving to listen to, more atmospheric and energetic. Delighted with the purchase. This amplifier is quite the modern day classic. If you are on the fence about purchasing this amplifer, believe the hype online. Reviewers love this amplifer, customers love this amplifier. For the money, its a steal. I listened to a Prima Luna Evo 300 that retails for nearly £4k. That amplifier offers the same performance as this Willsenton for a fraction of the cost. Quality sounding products, for basement prices, WOW! Thank you China-Hifi!!!

I was quite astonished today when I received my order of SHUGUANG TREASURE KT-88-Z matched quad. I will not be able to review them here at the moment but I wanted to comment on the delivery. First of all, the tubes arrived way ahead of what was expected. For that I must commend, CHINA HI-FI AUDIO. Honestly I was a bit concerned about the order due to the fact that about 5 days after placing the order, I noticed that this tube was marked as being "NOT AVAILABLE". I tried a few times to communicate with the supplier, but had not yet received a reply or tracking info. This is the only reason I did not give a 5 star rating. I strongly suggest that the supplier improve their communication, to avoid any bad impressions. Otherwise I am hoping the tubes sound as good as I would expect from SHUGUANG,

An Excellent Amp! I really love this thing. Here's why: It's an insane value that just sounds right from the get-go. No need to fool with the tubes or anything. Just bias it, burn it in for 8 or so hours, re-check bias, and start listening to the creamy dulcet tones of those EL34s, while also enjoying the power and punch offered by the transformer tanks. This amp sounds way nicer than it's price, looks good doing it, and will crank in UL mode. Add in the Bluetooth and you have an even better deal. The build quality is frankly astounding. You get a sense of pride in the manufacturing that shows these folks care about what's going out the door. It's not about gross profit, it about real enthusiasm for the works of art they are creating. Did I mention it's an amazing value? Don't buy it because of that though. Buy it because it just plain sounds fantastic! I got mine in blue, but if your feeling jaunty, go for red. Either way, you will be quite pleased.

Astonishing! This amp is it. I struggle mightily to describe just how impressed I am with this machine. I chose it because I have a pair of B&W Nautilus 802s which aren't very efficient and I really like to listen loud to a wide range of music. Right from the very first instant of listening I could tell I made the right choice. The sound-stage, the tone, the clarity, the quietness, the power, the bloom, the chime, the bass, the sparkle, airiness, they were all immediately obvious. I could go on ad nauseam with every superlative in the book. So I just chose astonished as the descriptor of choice. I was so impressed with my R800i 805 that I ordered three other lesser Willsenton amps that I don't really need as gifts from family and friends and am about to order an 845 model just because I am so damn impressed with the 805 that I want to find out if there is something even better. I mention this because if you see other reviews by me, it's not because I'm a shill, but a full-on geeked-out fanboy. Random thoughts pertaining to the R800i 805: It will drive your fucking Magnepans! I have never been beyond half volume on my Nautilus 802s because that would induce deafness. And there is no shortage of powerful deep bass. This is the pinnacle tube amp for your hard-to-drive monoliths. This thing will thump! However, it is not pumped up at the mid to upper bass like most every other amp. It's just powerful as hell without any peaks or valleys. Simply amazingly powerful,...

Solidly built, looks good and most importantly sounds great. Not at all digital sounding, has a lush sound but not too overly warm. Has balanced interconnects. Also has a USB port so it can function as a DAC (have yet to try out this function). Good value for the money.

I purchased my S5B’s used from Canuck Audio Mart. The fit and finish of these speakers are very good. I have a rather large collection of modern and vintage speakers and the S5B’s would be some of least expensive I own. As long as the cost of these speakers is taken into consideration it is hard to find serious fault with their sound. They produce good bottom end given there size and the overall tone of them is quite smooth. They do not have the clarity or imaging of my more expensive speakers but that is to be expected. They are a good value.
